The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) must be responded with optimism both by the industrial world and the world of education. To be able to contribute optimally in the MEA era, it is necessary to prepare superior human resources. In the field of mechanical engineering, competent and certified human resources must be prepared.
 
In order to increase the participation of universities in facing the MEA, the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education FT UNY held training in mechanical engineering through the training center unit (TC-JPTM) and in collaboration with TUK-JPTM held a competency certification for the field of mechanical engineering. TUK-JPTM is a unit under the coordination of the Indonesian Metal and Machinery Professional Certification Agency (LSPLMI) with license number TUK-074 and has the authority to carry out competency tests in accordance with standards issued by BNSP (National Professional Certification Agency).
 
TRAINING SCHEME
TC-JPTM FT UNY serves training for the general public, both institutions and individuals in the fields of:
  1. Computer Aided Design (CAD)
  2. Computer Numerical Control (CNC): Lathe & Mill
  3. Welding
  4. Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  5. Industrial Metrology
  6. Metal Casting
  7. Manual Machining: Lathe & Mill
 
COMPETENCE CERTIFICATION SCHEME
