ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

 

 

The main duties and functions of each board of directors are as follows:

Head of Department
  1. Carry out academic policies and educational quality standards set by the faculty.
  2. Develop an activity plan or work program of the department.
  3. Coordinate education, research and community service activities in the Department.
  4. Carry out the development of majors in the fields of education, research and community service.
  5. Develop good relations and cooperation with stakeholders (stakeholders).
  6. Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the teaching and learning process at the department level.
  7. Submit periodic activity reports to the Dean.

Department Secretary

  1. Carry out administrative and secretarial activities of the department.
  2. Coordinate the preparation and development of the department's education curriculum.
  3. Coordinate the activities of the teaching and learning process together with the Head of the Study Program.
  4. Develop a class schedule at the department level.
  5. Coordinate laboratory activities within the department.
  6. Coordinate Industrial Practice activities.

Head of Study Program

  1. Assist the task of the head of the department in the implementation of improving the quality of academics, research, and community service (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) at the Study Program level.
  2. Coordinate with department heads and department secretaries in conducting academic quality assurance.
  3. Coordinate with department heads and department secretaries in preparing study plans and work programs as work guidelines.
  4. Determine the lecturer for each semester.
  5. Determine the supervisor and examiner of Industrial Practice and Final Project.
  6. Evaluating the process and results of students' studies.

Head of Laboratory/Workshop

  1. Prepare supporting facilities to carry out education and teaching laboratory practicum/mechanical engineering workshops.
  2. Prepare supporting facilities to carry out research and development of mechanical engineering laboratories/workshops.

Educational Personnel/Technician Workshop

  1. Carry out preparatory activities and assist the process of academic activities in the lab/workshop.
  2. Carry out maintenance and repair of supporting facilities for academic activities in the lab/workshop.

Industrial Practice Coordinator (PI)

  1. Plan and organize the implementation of student industrial practice activities.
  2. Collaborating with industry to ensure the implementation of student industrial practices.

Student Assistant

  1. Guiding, directing, and assisting students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Department in student activities.
  2. Facilitate student activities related to events, competitions, seminars, training, other student activities.

Journal Coordinator

  1. Supervise that all journals of the Mechanical Engineering Education Department can be published on time.
  2. Management and selection of articles from inside and outside the department that are relevant and of high quality.
  3. Carry out training/wokshops in terms of OJS management, indexation and capacity building for journal managers.

Head of Competency Test Place (TUK)

  1. Set quality objectives and conduct management reviews.
  2. Coordinate the preparation of the TUK JPTM annual work plan.
  3. Coordinate the implementation of the annual work plan that has been set.
  4. Responsible for the availability of resources for the implementation of TUK activities (instructors, assessors, machines/equipment, etc.)
  5. Coordinate the preparation of the TUK JPTM annual work report related to the implementation of activities and finances.
  6. Responsible to the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education FT UNY.
